e-book publication (start to end)

Brief Acknowledgement:

This ebook is a development of Design Methodology's first assignment which is to create a (digital) poster to raise awareness of bad Malaysian drivers, and possibly to change the attitude of the subject.

My topic, is focused on reducing the number of queue cutters, as I am personally annoyed with these attitudes, therefore that had been the topic I picked to work on. After doing some researches and conducted a small interview, I was able to gather some informations and insights in regards to the matter, and hence concluded that one of the main reasons people cut queue is because they are rushing to their destination. How do you prevent rushing? The answer is simply by departing earlier.

Emphasising the focus on 'time management' is one of my goals to this campaign project, which hopefully can deliver my message on how people should depart earlier to prevent rushing and came the necessity to cut queue, moreover, an interactivity to simulate the terrible cause and effect cutting-queue can cause to the traffic.

Typography:

Roboto Slab
as slab serif is known as a bold font, it complimented with the message i want to deliver, which is somewhat a kind of a strong reminder.

Progress:

Sketches were then developed in Adobe Illustrator before going in inDesign.

after a whole-lot of tweaking here and there, the final outcome look much different than in the sketches.

Outcome:

Rationale:

An awareness campaign conducted to reduce the number of queue cutters, especially targeted to those who departs late causing the necessity to rush and eventually cut queue to shorten the arrival time. Emphasizing on ‘Time Management’ as the base of the design as well as the aim of the campaign with the concept of interactivity to experiment how time-management can affect the flow of traffic. The e-book records the results of various researches, both analogue and digital interviews, as well as further explaining the concept of the campaign. Overall, the e-book should express clearly what the campaign is about and how it will be executed.

her iconic identity as a non-green vegetable compliments the flavour of every other dishes.
often you find her in places she doesn't belong, but that's just how she rolls.
not to mention the richness of this simple-and-easy-to-grow veggie comes in very affordable ways.
